How to Turn Chores into Games

Every child can learn routines and responsibilities—but the way we teach them makes all the difference. In this workshop, kids will discover how everyday chores can become quick, playful games that build independence and confidence. Through hands-on activities, teamwork challenges, and movement-based tasks, students will learn strategies to make routines feel achievable, motivating, and even fun.

Key Skills in This Workshop:

  • Understanding how games and structure increase motivation

  • Practicing step-by-step routines in a playful, low-pressure setting

  • Strengthening cooperation, follow-through, and flexible thinking

  • Learning how to use timers, points, and teamwork as positive tools

This session helps kids reframe chores from “have to” tasks into opportunities for mastery, movement, and success—skills they can bring home and use every day.
