Problem-Solving Part 1

Problem-solving is a skill kids can carry into every part of life, from the classroom to friendships to home challenges. In Part 1 of this two-day workshop, students will dive into the foundations of creative and flexible problem-solving. Through engaging puzzles, team-building activities, and hands-on challenges, kids will learn how to break problems down, think through multiple solutions, and practice persistence when things don’t go as planned.

Key Skills in Part 1:

  • Breaking big challenges into smaller, manageable steps

  • Exploring different strategies for the same problem

  • Practicing persistence and learning from mistakes

  • Building confidence in tackling the “unknown”

This session lays the groundwork for Part 2, where students will take these skills to the next level with more complex, collaborative challenges.
